Entry 13 [Accidental Video | Daemon Day]

[Rummy comes into the frame and sits down on his couch, looking not-too-pleased. A small, black snake slides up his leg and coils on his knee, looking up at him.]

You ain't gonna leave, are ya'?

'Fraid not. Y'see, I'm part of ya', Rummy. I'd tell ya' to jump out the window to try and fly to prove this ain't a dream, but that would take me with ya'.

How 'bout if I just toss you out the window so you'll leave me alone?

That don't sit well with me either. 'Cause it goes both ways. Put it simply, if you go, I go, and if I go, you go.

Just what are you sayin' exactly?

A'right, I'm just gonna be blatant, nigga. Basically, I'm your soul.

So, lemme get this straight. You're a part of me, you're called a daemon, which is nothin' like what I had to deal with last month, and if one of us goes the other goes too.

[The snake notices the light on the device and looks up at Rummy.]

By the way, that piece of nigga technology is on.

[Rummy looks towards the device and realizes she's right.]

Oh shit, not again.

[He reaches out and turns it off.]

[OOC: So, Rummy is cursed with daemon day. The daemon in question is a black rat snake. Might not be an exact match, but a close enough one, I think. Not the most dangerous snake in the world, but, like Rummy, it's still not a good idea to mess with one. Also, they strangle their prey, and Rummy did once strangle a man.]

I think it means that you miss him and that this place's being a bit cruel. Then again maybe it can be a sign that you'll see him again soon?
